Summoning Message

SolaceStones

SolaceStones is a simple messaging addon that provides messages in party or raid chat when certain spells are cast, written at the behest of my wife. Its name comes from the first spell it supported: Soulstone.

Type /solace in game for help.

The current version is a stable version. It should be stable in current versions of World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, and World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. If you encounter any bugs, please let me know.

The mod should automatically check to determine what it thinks is the "best" channel for the message. If you are in a group, it will post to party chat. If you are in a raid, it will post to raid chat. If you're solo, it will post to /say. There's no way for me to send the message in different colors, though; color information isn't parsed in message content. I could add an option to try to post to /rw, if that was a popular idea.

If that's not working and it's always posting to /say, let me know.

Also, a mod couldn't detect soul shards as you described unless each Warlock had the mod, in which case it really becomes more of a "Warlock collaboration" mod, where this is a messaging mod, so that's not really in the scope of what I'm trying to do.
