Originally developed by HarrosGuildBankSearch adds a filter to your guild bank window to easily find things in cluttered tabs. It searches both the items in your bank and the log text quickly and intuitively.

Filter Window
The “Filter” button at the top right of the guild bank window opens GuildBankSearch's filter pullout. The pullout allows you to sort by many item properties, similar to the auction house:
- Item name, either partial or full.
- Tooltip text below the item's name, partial or full.
- Quality, such as poor, uncommon, and rare.
- Item level, or “iLevel”: The internal stat budget for items. Not to be confused with player level.
- Required level allows you to search for gear available to a given level range. If the upper or lower boundary fields are left blank, those boundaries won't be enforced in the search. That is, with a lower boundary of 35 and no upper boundary, any item usable by level 35s and above will match the search.
- The “Item Category” section allows searching item classifications in the same way as the auction house.
- Type divides items into the broadest categories, such as weapons, armor, and consumables.
- Sub-Type classifies items in a given Type even further. The various weapon types such as swords and staves are sub-types of the weapons type, for example.
- The Slot field allows searching for specific gear slots such as rings or main hands.
Text boxes such as item name will not affect search results if left blank, and dropdowns such as item quality each have an “(All)” option. To quickly remove all search criteria, click the “Clear” button near the top of the filter pane.

I wasn't expecting it to be updated and added that fast! You do indeed rock! Kudos. ~ I found your add-on from the other Guild Bank Search add-on which has been renamed to GBankSearch. When reading the comments, as I went there due to incredible amounts of lag that that add-on caused, I discovered that you had done one (this one). So I came over to check it out. Now with the tooltip text search you added, I can find anything quickly. And, best of all, absolutely no Guild Bank lag! - You rock my friend. Thank you for creating this add-on. |

Hi there.
Awesome Add-oN! I have a couple of suggestions though (unless this add-on can do it but I fail at using it). Suggestion 1: Imagine a tab full of Glyphs. It would be nice to be able to type: "Rogue" and then all the glyphs for a rogue show up. Suggestion 2: Imagine a tab full of epic gem cuts. Would be nice to be able to type: "Expertise" and everything except gems with Expertise dim only showing you gems with Expertise on them. Or "Parry" or "Hit" etc. Not everyone remembers the exact name of the gems with the stats that they want, so being able to type the stat in the name field or class etc would be awesome. I hope you too agree and add this feature to this add-on. Thank you very much for this add-on.  |

 I cannibalized GuildBankFilter by removing the searchfields so that it only shows req. level on items.  Actually found this http://www.wowinterface.com/download...Icon.html#info that does exactly what I need.. but alas it conflicts with my CargBags (onebag) and thus doesn't show req lvl in bank nor inventory, only vault

Problem, the search pane is not showing on my end. No errors produced or anything.
I don't have any other addons that interfaces with the guild bank other than BankGUI - which only searches the contents and stores a database for it to show in its own GUI (O -> Bank tab). I also have Baggins, but it doesn't have anything to do with Guild Banks tho, so I doubt it as well. Dunno what else information I can provide. T_T

Harros no longer plans to keep GuildBankSearch up to date, so he handed the project off to me for the future. Sorry for the delay though; it took a while for the ownership to change.
This download page will be kept up to date from here on out. |
