    Multishot is a tiny addon that automatically takes screenshots of memorable events in your World of Warcraft career. It's a photo diary of everything you come across in Azeroth, Outland and Northend.

    Features & screenshot possibilities
    • level-ups and guild level-ups
    • achievements and guild achievements
    • challenge mode medals
    • battleground and arena victories
    • reputation changes
    • trade window transactions
    • any rare/rare-elite mob kills
    • timeline; take a screenshot every x minutes (configurable)
    • keybind; take a custom screenshot on demand
    And most of all: boss killshots in dungeons and raids. Inbuilt database contains most if not all bosses ingame. Pew pew!

    How to use
    Just play as usual and Multishot will be waiting. By the way: you can take screenshots any time you like by pressing the PRINT key. Captures will most likely be located in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Screenshots.

    Configuration
    via Interface > Addons > Multishot or type /multishot into the chat window.

    Updates
    You will have to update Multishot every once in a while. Blizzard constantly adds, removes or updates mobs. Multishot would not be aware of these changes otherwise.

    Troubleshooting
    Multishot might not work as expected after new content patch has been released: every now and then "false positives" will sneak into the database. Those can easily be spotted in debug mode. Please drop me a line so that I can blacklist them as soon as possible.

    Localization
    Multishot works on all locales and supports localization. Please submit a translated copy of the "/Locales/Locale-enUS.lua" file if your language is not included yet. Thanks!

    To the developers, PLEASE keep this updated, there is only one other addon like this, and it does achievements, I think it's fun to have these kinds of addons! We really appreciate it!!

    Does this still work for 5.4? I have a new 'main' and I am excited to keep memorable screenshots of everything, since I always forget to take pictures myself!

    In other words, whatever parts of UI you see on screenshots, you should report to that addon's author as a serious break of UI design guidelines.

    The addon hides (in reality briefly fades out completely) everything that is parented to UIParent.
    With very few functional exceptions everything an addon makes should be parented to UIParent or one of its children and those will hide properly.

    MultiShot does not work the same way as Alt-z as that operation is implicitly protected.
    It would produce taint related errors in a number of situations so it is off-limits to addons.
    I will see what I can do about the minimap though.

    Addon works okay, however, it doesn't completely hide the UI when the option is checked. When the screenshot is taken with the hide UI feature checked, some elements stay open that were from other addons. The arrow for Zygor's Guides addon doesn't disappear, and the blips on my minimap don't disappear, either.

    Curiously, though, when using "Alt-Z" to hide the interface, it hides everything completely. I figured that's what this addon would utilize?

    Is it possible to configure addon to shoot all rare kills, but othervise not snap any other mobs?

    A head-up, since you mentioned it.
    /console taintLog 2 rapidly crashes WoW. It have issues with memory allocation for Lua interpreter, obviously. It may manifest without taintLog enabled, but takes a long time to do so.

    Well if deleting the WTF 'fixed' it that makes me suspect a console variable that you had changed from Blizzard defaults.

    Did you by any chance have taint logging enabled prior to your deleting wtf? (/console taintLog 1)

    There's all kinds of weird and hard to debug breakage happening to addons when taint logging is enabled in the current wow build (16057 for future reference if it's fixed) because Blizz has broken that diagnostic system.

    I should say that I'm still waiting for my MoP copy (ordered a physical box) so... I haven't actually tested it since 25th (but it was working fine on MoP beta and before the 25th... it's spooky )

    Do you have and error-catching addon (like Swatter or BugSack/BugGrabber) or "Show Lua errors" ticked under the default game options? (Help section)
    Maybe there is an actual error that prevents the watermark from hiding but you're not seeing it?

    I didn't have the problem before MOP went live, but for the last few days its been happening.

    I'm Running WoW enUS 5.0.5 Live
    Windows7 64bit
    Multishot version 3.0.7

    I've just deleted my WTF folder and will start wish a fresh config, I was gonna say that I'd try and screenshot when it happens but, duh!
    The addon does that for me

    Is there a way to force a screenshot so I can test it with my other addons to check for compatibility issues?
