I noticed when I open the edit box to type, the channel I'm in text: i.e. Say: or [1. General] font is freakin huge, and using the code: ChatFrameEditBox:SetFont(ChatFontNormal:GetFont(), 9) doesn't effect that?

I was trying to say "....aren't BEING kept to date, ....." I didn't mean to insinuate its up to the web site to be up to date, IDK why the author isn't keep them up to date is the point i was trying to make, because the updates are being done.

Thanks for the link. I don't think its up to Curse or WoWInterface but the add on author themselves to submit the updated version. Then its up to Curse and WoWInterface to check over the add on before they post it for downloading here on the sites.

There is an update available - http://www.wowace.com/addons/chatter/
use the link at the right to chose the most current release on the right instead of the download link, files are dated 8/5. For me its not working perfect , but close.

Idk why curse and wowinterface.com aren't kept up to date but there you can get it.

I'm currently adding all the addons I use to my favorites here because Curse is slowly getting worse and worse. E-mails regarding updates never come and lately the Curse site itself keeps saying there are updates but won't allow me to download them, only older versions. WoWInterface is much better so long as addon authors actually make use of it. I hope the author of Chatter will consider doing so in the future.

I too was unable to download the latest Chatter from curse (it says the link is outdated). I was, however, able to get it from wowace instead.

Off-site links are frowned upon (for good reasons) but if you go to wowace and search for Chatter you'll find recent files in the right-hand side bar. Clicking on one gives you an option to download it.

Re: Wrong version downloaded
If you have svn or don't mind the trouble of getting it installed, you can get the version with the right-click chat tab issue resolved from wowace.com. Just run

svn co svn://svn.wowace.com/wow/chatter/mainline/trunk
Don't worry about any failed downloads for the Libs directory. Copy everything but the Libs directory on top of the version you downloaded from here.

The options dialog is still busted, however.
