I have the same issue, by default the key binding to exit the vehicle is numpad 5. I sent a few screen shots of this problem today, not sure if it is a NUI problem or Bliz. I had an idea last night which I think a lot of us do use through other addons, is the all in one bag, kind of like bagon or other similar addons which handle bag/item management. It would be nice to have a build in item rack kind of feature also.

The first attempt, I had a red X to exit the Vehicle, but attempts after that didn't work. What happened the first time, I had the display of the vehicle, all the different abilities in the where the char screen is. On attempts after that it would replace my pet bar, but no red X to exit the vehicle. I did try /nui rl hoping to fix...

I love the UI. I noticed a few things not working correctly. The other thing just a picky thing is where you type is extremely hard to read and it overlaps with the chat window. Is there away to fix this? I also just made a contribution to this UI last night..
