I absolutely understand that you don't have unitids for each enemy player, and that things like /cast or /target don't necessarily give you the ability to manufacture unitids. *but* for updating buffs/debuffs and target of enemy target, I think you could opportunistically get them whenever you or one of your teammates uses focus,...
