You can just edit ElvUI.toc to reflect the current version of ElvUI. How does one go about doing that? Or are you saying just open it with notepad and change what the .toc says for the version? "just open it with notepad and change what the .toc says for the version" Precisely.

Is there going to be an update to this ui? I keep getting spammed with messages everytime I join a group saying that my elvui is over 5 times out of date and don't want to use just elvui. You can just edit ElvUI.toc to reflect the current version of ElvUI.

New ElvUI update messed up this addon, or is it just me? No, YOU messed it up by updating ElvUI. Read the directions, they distinctly say to NOT update ElvUI.
