Can't display the minimap

I just transfered servers, and all my settings were erased. Since this happened, I cannot get the minimap to display. I have tried all the settings, but I cannot make it reappear. I had a similar problem a really long time ago, where the map was off the visible part of the screen. I could just see a tiny bit of it on the edge...
