slight issue with maximizing map

When I maximize the map from the panel, i am unable to minimize it back to it. It just disappears. I need to switch to another info panel, press "M" to display the large map, then press "M" or the "x to close the map", then it will display the mini map in the info panel. Now, this just seems to have happen after I installed...
