Uhm... I am not using any HUD Mod whatsoever and I also seem to have this "background" problem, I guess - my bag is colored very darkly and I cant access any bag item. Ok, I love cartographer so far but I got one little problem that I didnt get solved so far: when I'm in an instance, it keeps switching back from the instance map to the zone map in which I have been questing... any idea what might cause this?

I have read the tooltips, but a few things were still unclear to me, which you clarified now :) After a good nights sleep I even figured out the droptdown menu items, but thanks anyway - I will play around with that a bit more now and create some timers for my various chars. In how far do they differ? - spell/ability - self buff - self debuff - target buff - target debuff I am wondering as how to actually set up the timer bars... lets say...
