Didn't realize just how much I missed the Caith style UI. Had a whim to clean up my old UI today because I realized it was the source of various performance issues and I needed to slim down. Found this, and am now quite happy! Everything is set up cleanly enough that the few modifications I wanted to make were quite simple to do. Lov...

Minor request - would love to see oUF_CombatFader support. I like to have unit frames closer to the center of the screen which is great when in combat - but a bit of a nuisance when not. Faded frames have always been a great compromise.

Looks wonderful. Superb font choice/positioning. Sounds silly, but those things make a big difference.

Woo! Love that this is now a standalone piece. This + nibIceHUD + nibPointDisplay is a solid foundation to any custom UI. Oops... just noticed that nibIceHUD isn't standalone anymore. Umm - would suggest its return if it is something you can extract and maintain easily as a separate piece as it compliments your unit frames wonderf...

Is there any way to add ouf_Fader support (or to otherwise dim the frames when out of combat)? Love the styling on these, but greatly prefer to have things mostly transparent when not needed.

As someone else mentioned way back in Sept., I too am unable to get EH to hide when out of combat on my warlock. Tested with no other addons running. Was anything ever discovered as to what causes this? EDIT: Oh good grief. I somehow totally missed that there is a "/ehz redshift" command - I thought setting it in the config file w...

Looks like the current version might be packaged incorrectly. Typically, addons are packed in a folder of the same name: align/ align.toc file2.txt file3.txt This doesn't have the top-level 'align' folder. Not a huge issue, but might break things like mmoui.

Re: Update

Is there a way to update to the new version of RealUI while still keeping all my addon settings completely intact and not affecting any of the addons I downloaded that were not included with RealUI? There is a more complete answer a few pages back, but the short answer is to simply back up your existing WTF and Interface folders...

Thanks for the explanation, and the clever workaround! I set up a couple extra scales just as you described and it works just fine, and gives values that look much more like I'd expect. Hooray!

Are there any known issues with Pawn using the MH: DPS and OH: DPS values correctly? I plugged in the default Enhancement Shaman values from askmrrobot.com which makes use of both MH/OH dps and speed. Yet when I compared a lvl 187 mace with a Tremendous Tankard o' Terror, Pawn was telling me it was a mere 57% upgrade. If I instead us...

hold shift, when mowing spells, type /hovebind or /hb to call bind menu Holy cow. "Alpha" might be a bit conservative then. It is pretty feature complete right out of the box! The sliding panels and preset action bar sizes are amazing to see in action, and I absolutely love the non-obtrusive gradient used throughout (ie, empty ac...

Incredible UI thus far, especially for something listed as 'alpha'. It seems pretty usable already. Two features that stand out the most as being missing: I can't find a way to remove a spell from an action bar (or move spells around) short of replacing them with something else, and there is no fancy keybind interface ala bartend...

So all the addons that arent listed in the addons "not to update" can we update? I try every time but it always says that it may change what you've done to the addon. So I'm worried whether or not to do it. So even though everything says modified except for the very few that were not supposed to update I can still update? Just wanted...

I wanted to replace clique/grid with Vuhdo, replace ArkInventory with AdiBags, remove aurora and add tidy plates. When I did this and logged back into WOW, I got an error from realui saying my WTF directory was corrupt. Hmm... I've swapped in Vuhdo (I'm now a convert!), AdiBags (not a convert... back to Ark) and taken out Auror...

You have perfected the pixel font. I 'forced' myself to get used to the font (which wasn't really that hard), but the new high-res option simply makes it perfect (1680x1050, but not a top-end monitor). I'm using almost everything stock, with no compelling reason to change much of anything. (chatter font to 13, 3 action bars, skinner...

Looks very nice Nib, thanks for all the effort. I was very concerned about the use of a pixel font. I don't care for the pixel font on the bottom screen status line, and anytime it gets scaled up (IceHUD, MSBT), but that's changeable so no biggie. The unit frames in general are excellent. Very concise, but not lacking details. Th...

For decent default weights, ask the folks at askmrrobot.com if you can embed theirs. Granted, some classes (hunters) will still yet at you that they aren't perfect, but they will typically be closer than wowhead. For some classes (spriest) they will be about as accurate as is possible. Another alternative is to use the weightings...

For default weights, you may wish to consider using those provided by askmrrobot.com either instead of or in addition to those from wowhead. They are fairly well theorycrafted and/or researched from other theorycrafting sites, and cover all specs. Otherwise, excellent addon. All the changes you've added since 4.0 have been simply...
