Yes, you would have to analyze the data and figure out all the quests for which your recently-turned-in one is a prerequisite. I do not know a way for you to include the data you need in a "live" manner other that requiring Grail as a dependency. Most of the admins are loadable on demand so should not impact a normal player's lif...

Re: Error!

This error is being reported by a few others as well. I have not been able to reproduce it, but am adding some guard code to try to ensure it does not cause problems.

You can remove the folders you do not need, but as long as you do not mind the (as things go low disk space used, and) list of addons in the UI I would suggest not doing so. Grail is smart enough to only load the addons that are needed, both only the language you use and the Classic/Retail use based on what version you are running....

Just download the latest Wholly (072) and Grail (101) and it works in both Classic and Retail. However, the Classic version does not have all the quest information present yet. Submissions from your play in Classic would be appreciated. You can also get the very latest versions from GitHub.

I tried Grail Classic when Classic launched but all the quest givers were named "Unknown" and I could not interact with any of them. Only quest givers were affected, vendors, trainers, etc all worked normally. This was in the Night Elves starting zone Shadowglen. Grail/Wholly were the only "new" Classic addons that I had installed at...

Re: Re: Re: Grail/Wholly in Classic?
Posted By: Nimhfree
Yes, they work (with a few limitations to the Wholly quest panel that are being worked on). However, as you have seen, the quest data is limited. For Classic all the quest data needs to be gathered because I have found that the Retail data does not match and I feel it is better to gather the data fresh instead of making people go p...

Re: Grail/Wholly in Classic?
Posted By: Nimhfree
It was my understanding that they"should" work with the classic client with the changes you have been making to get them to work on both clients. Is my "thinking" incorrect? I'm currently using the version 100 but when I open the Wholly panel, it is showing only quests in the starter (level 1-5) areas. This was in the Coldridge V...

ever since pre patch both add ons seem to be borked The latest versions of Wholly and Grail are available from the GitHub repository and should give back most functionality.  This will be the best location to get things working until the next public release is made.

I'd love to be able to have a threshold for the "High Level" quest filter and to still show quests that are, say, 10 levels above me while the "High Level" quests filter is disabled. Or perhaps a macro that allows me to quickly toggle the "High Level" quest filter so I can see what's in store for me when I level up. I can proba...

Pity I have a report. No bugs that swatter found, but I got this in my chat box on my first login after the patch hit. This is a clip of the text: http://imgur.com/uAck3dQ Interesting. This message appears from processing the "QUEST_ACCEPTED" event. The first number is the questId that is passed in that event. The seco...

Is there a way to turn off Wholly adding colored dots/squares to the minimap? Using carbonite to display quest objectives and this feature is making it hard to actually find them and the quest givers themselves as Wholly is overlaying everything else. There is a preference in Wholly that controls this which should be the first pre...

First of all, reporting the quest that is lacking the proper prerequisite markers (in this case the requirement for skinning profession) would help greatly as Grail can be updated for everyone's benefit. Reporting can be done here, in ticket pages, via email, etc. Wholly by its default parameter settings does not showed what Whol...

Missing AdjustGUIParent()
Posted By: Nimhfree
Hi. I just received a bug report for an addon that leads me to believe Lightheaded no longer has AdjustGUIParent(). I have not done the research to figure out whether my assumption is correct, and if it is, when it went missing and what perhaps has replaced it. I was hoping that someone here might be able to quickly tell me what i...

Yes, a Grail thing. And the data has already been updated in one of the prereleases of Grail. I just checked the data, and if it is not in the current PR2, it will be in the next one that comes out. Awesome. If I find things in the future, would you rather I report here, or in some other fashion? I believe, at one point, we were...

My apologies for not posting on wowcurse forum, but my machine is old and my browser doesn't get along with their site. Taking my second toon through the Assault on the Dark Portal, I happened to take a moment to breathe (grin) and opened the map. I saw three daily quests on the map (blue !), and hovering over them gave me "A Pot...

Re: Offering info to help
Posted By: Nimhfree
Nimh, you replied to a previous post, that the extraneous (to me) yellow ! on the map are there because faction information (among other things) is needed for Grail to be able to distinguish. What exactly do you mean? Is it that Grail cannot tell if a quest is flagged for Horde or Alliance? Looking up many of the quest names and...

Not all the bonus Objectives in Gorgrond don't disappear. Also there are many yellow Exclamation points all over the map and in Wholly log. All are lvl 92 to 94 and I visited each and every one of them and there is no quest to be found. Is there a way to make it do a server query. I did /grail and it did a server query but n...

Re: Change color of pins

Hi, Does this add-on have the ability for end users to change the color of map pins. I find that the lower level quests do not show up well for me and I miss them (I like to complete all quests in each zone). Thx in advance ... dwfa Yes, Wholly can do that but you will have to do it manually as there is no user interfa...

I am not sure how you go about parsing the quests from wowhead for LightHeaded, but if you are having trouble identifying ways to get the entire set that should be available, can you just get them by quest ID instead? The reason I ask is because my addon Grail should be able to tell me all the quest IDs that are valid for any specif...

Yes, the name is what was uploaded. I was rushed when I uploaded the file and did not notice. When version 039 is released it should be back to the normal naming scheme. The prerelease files are not normally uploaded to these release sites but it is ok.
