as for the fading issue, i fixed it by changing "Fade/Fade.lua" as follows:
function CowTip_Fade:CURSOR_UPDATE(...)
self:AddTimer("CowTip_Fade_runHide", 0, runHide)
end
all the other contents of the function were removed.
