Temporarily disable hiding the default frames?

I find that as I play, I really need to be able to click off some of my buffs. On the other hand, I use a special frame to white-list procs to see when I want to cast things like fire elemental. Is it possible to stop hiding the default buff frames and just use SBF to show my procs and shields frames? Thanks in advance, love you...
