I can't set the number of bars either but I can increase the number of bars by going to edit mode then I click an item in the last bar and assign it a higher bar using the slider. At max I can increase it 3 at a time if I set the number of bars in a row to be 3. Logically I think if I set it higher, the will increase to that. So if I...

Someone on another site updated exactly the same thing. I do not know if you're one and the same person but I sort of like this mod better than the other.
