Thank you again Excelis for the great feedback. Boss frames I can either raise them level with boss1 and a bit more spread out, stack them vertically to the left and/or right of screen, or I can raise the quartz cast bars. I'll have a play around. EDIT: Raised the Quartz bars, moving the boss frames was making things look messie...

Chat Channels
Posted By: Fizzlemizz
I'm wanting to define the chat channel list and see if I need more/less options My current thinking in-line with the current options are: General - The all purpose channel minus trade ie. like it is now. Group - Instance, BG, Raid, Say (???). Guild - Pretty simple, just guild. Trade - It is what it is if you want to go ther...

It's not easy building these things in a vacuum so thank you for the help and suggestions :). I'm currently using Bagnon and it seems to do the job although, for the life of me, I cannot understand why it feels the need to to have anything to do with minimap buttons. I tried Combuctor and I realy did quite liked it however, I v...

I had to remove tekticles. The problem: it changes the chatframe fonts whenever you type /fm. Not a bigy if you just /FM and hit the GO button but it is really strange if you don't (cancel). I don't know why it does this, the /FM process doesn't do anything to the chat windows until you do hit the go button and at that stage it w...

I'm just about to post a build with a fix for SRF. As to not liking SRF, I haven't found a stand-alone raid frame setup that allows me to break up the bars in the manner required (certainly Grid doesn't). SRF is still maintained and current (ok, March last year but it hasn't needed fixing and Dridzt is still very much around). I'...

I tried tekticles and the on difference I see with mail text is that with tekticles it's all italicised and maybe a little darker. I'll put it in the next build and see how it flies.

Re: Love the HUD
Posted By: Fizzlemizz
Edit: It needed a few tweeks so it won't be available until the next build is released and it's not going to be released as a standalone addon, having two versions of addons during Beta and PTR is pain enough. It will also be largely unsupported other than making sure it works. Original Reply: Thank you deke913, I'm glad you lik...

MazzleUI had two rows of 12 action buttons (FM has 2x14) each sided with pet/class bars above (which is why it looks like a lot of nothing above the action bars on non-pet/class bar classes), the class/ bars are longer these days. Mazz. didn't have as many buttons per row but he was dealing with much smaller screens so "usable" v "de...

Edit: I've had a look at 1920 x 1080 (setting both monitor and game resolution) and everything looks ok. I'm not sure what's going on here. In the FauxMazzleConfig\Modules\FM_Layouts.lua file the is an entry for 1920x1080 with the elements ={=541.4140894609518,=975.2891969505872 x1 is the x offset for the lower left SRF bar a...

Thanks for the HUD info. I was testing with an NPC targeted and wasn't seeing any change. Is there some setting for only turning on the HUD when in combat rather than turning on when something is targeted? The HUD works the same as the target unit frame, you target something, it shows. I'm not sure how easy it would be to differ...

Thank you for the report. I'll poke around, but I've never seen a tab unless I've expressely turned them on for testing/moving. Edit: I only adjust chat frames 1,2 and 3. If you have other chat channels on then I don't touch them (turn them off) and I'm guessing my Prat settings don't either. If you open the Prat config, the optio...

I think I'll just anchor it to the top of the micro menu bar so I no longer have to think about it :). Edit: Done, will be part of the next release, thank you Excelis for the report.

I'll get onto it, can you let me know what resolution you are using? Thank you for the feedback. Beta 10 - The Domino's bag bar and menu bar over lap. Can't click anything higher than the Achievements button. :-)

I'll have a look see. I should be pushing another update soon so i'll try to include this. Thank you for the feedback. Is there a way to change the strata of the sRaidFrames? My Autobar popout for pets and minions is popping under the raid frames and disappears are soon as I mouse over the raid frame. I've set the Autobar b...

Thank you mfrnka for trying FauxMazzle and posting the kind words with bananas. I put this together for my own enjoyment (my motivation) so it doesn't seem right taking donations just for pushing it here to WoWI :). I've been playing since vanilla (hence my Mazzle addiction) but didn't get into coding lua until DUF died so, I gues...

Thank you for giving FauxMazzle a try, I do hope you enjoy it. Love the look of this UI, but I can't seem to get it to work with my resolution. At most, my resolution is 1440 x900 (wide). Anways to work around that so FauxMazzle would work for me? Greatly appreciate it! Good day! 1440x900 doesn't show up on my list, the closes...

I was actually just trying that, but it only works the first time. If I open the frame again (/ag) and hit esc, the frame remains and the regular esc menu opens. That's beacuse you are creating a new frame with each /ag but the only frame pointer stored is the one included in the original tinsert. Give your frame a truly uni...

Hi Zole, Thank you for trying FauxMazzle, I'm glad you like it. I think the reason most people avoid AutoBar is that it's a hybrid of Ace 3 and the way-out-of-date Ace2 libraries and it's showing signs of stress because of it (I can't get the level 90 Health pots to show on it for example even though they are listed in the item f...

I greatly appreciate the effort put into making an up to date version of mazzle, but was wondering if it was possible to include other resolutions, or at least a work around for those of us without 1920x1080 laptops. I am currently using 1600x900 on my laptop, and would be more than happy to help get it to work. I'll have a look...

It's looking great! Good job! Do you have plans to support 2560 x 1440 at any point? If you want to buy me a monitor that supports that resolution sure ;). I'm not sure how far the background images can stretch before looking distorted thus requiring a new larger set..

I'm liking what you have done. I am curious/concerned with your choice of sRaidFrames since it appears to be a long dead addon. And yes, I do realize I can replace it with my own choice but I'd like to understand your reasoning first. A few of the addons are no longer maintained but I'm using them because they still work and I k...

Hi Uitat, Thank you for the note. Mazzlefizz is/was, always will be (I assume), most stridently of an "All Rights Reserved" stance where his code was involved, therefore, respectfully, none of his code is contained in FauxMazzle (hence the faux part). FauxMazzle is just my interpetation of the MazzleUI look and feel and a b...
