There is no problem if you use your modifications only to you in your computer =o)
These things only become an issue if you publish the modification into a new addon or inside a pack without the author consent.

I just decided to add this addon to my ui and haven't gotten to use it yet but, still encountered an annoyance.
Basically if you're unguilded you will be getting spammed with "You are not in a guild." message pretty frequently when the addon does version checks. This is highly annoying.

Anyway of being able to tell how much Power Word: Barrier actually heals? I have been looking at all the other dmg/healing meters and none of them really track it either.
I don't think so, it acts like a damage mitigation cooldown on everybody inside the bubble and don't trigger a combat combat event telling us how much damage was...

I also woud like to switch to this addon but reason why I still use recount is because of the broker plugins for it. Coud you make something like Broker_RecountFu, I don't need the tooltip but it shoud have this options:
Show DPS and HPS at the same time in short numbers,
Show your own ranking in dps/hps
show Combat Time
