The same would happen with my implementation if I added something similar. The problem is we (addon authors) can't reliably work out which event in the combat log belongs to which nameplate in the physical world -unless- you've moused over or targeted it.Or unless it has a raid target icon :)

Lol @ the refresh code xD That confuses me :) The search code creates 5 tables every time it is called. Wouldn't it be better to change the scope of those tables to the file scope and wipe the tables each time the function gets called? Very nice AddOn however!

hmm this appears to make all guns sound like lasers. is there a way to make only mine that way?No, there is not. This method overrides the soundfiles of the game. It is not possible to detect if a sound was played for your character or a hunter from someone else.

I notice the folder has more subfolders than listed, like Spells > fizzle and the Item > weapon has another Gun folder along side the ogg and wav files. why?Crap, I think I accidently included those files then :) They silence the annoying sound when an action is already in progress.
