I was under the impression the filter being used was just what you had in the drop box. But i now see the Active check box for each drop down.

Because there is 2 filters: "To me" and "By me" if one of them passes through the even gets created, in this case both targets are "You" means you have to disable the event you want to disable in both filters.
I am aware of the issue regarding having to type /ycl twice i will look at that soon.

I have a feature request for the caching. The information is not up to date anymore for a character that i inspected 30 days ago... how about something like a data expire which deletes old entries after XX (number you can define) to save some memory over time?
