Thanks. I'd like to see that. If I could see that text, I'd know what's going on. Just drop it here, or in a PM.

Oh, the change was just to put in a bunch of debug prints. I needed to know what the mod is basically 'thinking' when it's processing this. See, it shouldn't be stopping you from enchanting because it's supposed to only work if certain messages are sent to StaticPopup. Now what I need to figure out is whether it's me or Blizzard's...

Ahhh... the items you're trying to use for enchantments are stuff in your Vault. It should be accounted for, in that it should only run if it's going to show you the dialogue asking if you want to destroy a normal or good item... But that's clearly not the case for you. I'll look into it. I'm particularly proud of Vault as my best...

It sounds like something weird has happened to your database along the way, between versions most likely, and you have two options here. 1.) You can do this: /script VaultDB = nil That will essentially clear your database completely. 2.) You can do this: /dump VaultDB If you do that, copy what it reports back with a...

Blargh. That'll teach me to read right after waking up, my reading comprehension is nil. For some reason my mind took those as dungeon names. I have no idea why. But anyway, the name bug should be fixed now, I hope. Sorry about hat.

Ah. Thanks! I haven't had a chance to test in instance play. I thought the logic was solid (I kept simplifying it so that I could make it as solid as possible) but apparently not! So, I shall have a look at those errors and get this fixed ASAP. Even if this means me running off to find a random dungeon to test it in. But that shou...

Yeeeah... but dump isn't always ideal. Basically, I don't want to have to expend any effort on having to read clumsily laid out info. I just want an elegant display that's easy to speed read. Dump can be spammy and ugly. I mean, look at this: Dump: value=SomeDB.value =102 Whereas my alternative does... PrintVar - Input...

So, this is becoming pretty complicated. And in a way it's turning into an all round dungeon/marking mod. People who aren't me or my friends: Do you fin this difficult to use and would it be easier if it had an options screen? I've been tempted to write one in, but if that's not helpful to anyone else then I won't bother.

Oh! Also. Namtar. Don't fret, seriously, bug reports are never bad news. They're informative and helpful. I just need to get my act together with uploads, because I can't believe I didn't notice that there was something funky up with that zip.

Yep. Found out last night. I screwed up the zip. I learned something, though! Post-release QA checks! I should redownload my own version and test it. ...it's interesting having a QA guy as a friend. >_> But anyway, I'll have a new one up as quickly as possible!

Oh! Atlas does? I can easily fix that, though! That's an easy fix. There is another style of lockbox available, I'll just change the icon to use that. And thanks for reporting back. My friend and I have been using this for a while now and we've had no issues. I can't believe it finally came down to having to use a for loop to i...

Posted By: VagrantEsha
So how is Vault working out for everyone? I thankfully have a friend who's actually a QA guy, and he keeps finding bugs in my stuff, much to my chagrin. Thankfully, Vault has survived his tests and so far it seems rock solid. If it is, I may leave Vault where it is for now and work on other projects. I can't think of anything e...

Posted By: VagrantEsha
No worries! Since the rewrite Vault has been in a slightly volatile state and that's not a good thing for a vault to be in. Thankfully it seems like I've finally hammered out the bugs and actually managed to retain the thing I was proud about - that it actually buys back the correct and only the correct items now if you spam right...

Yep, I found it. I was playing WoW with a friend last night. "Hrmn. I can't seem to sell this recipe I don't need." "That's weird." "See if you can sell it." "I can't! Let's see if I can sell... anything... else... oh fffff..." "Eh?" "There's something up with Vault." That was a rather hilarious moment and it took a ver...

If you've used 006, please update to 007 as soon as possible and don't change the database at all. There was a small bug in 006. If you have run into it, just clear your database (there is functionality for this in Vault - Bond Version, 007). Anyway, if you're curious of the nature of the bug, check the ChangeLog. Unfortunately I...

Sorry, I haven't done flying in ages. Forgive me for being out of it. I haven't played WoW in a... long, long time. And I haven't used flying since the Burning Crusade. So do forgive me my ignorance, and I do recognise my ignorance. If I understand what you're asking for, I think I may be able to help. Okay, first of all, every...

Hrmn. Actually... I'm not sure I can do it. Each action requires a click, but mounts have a casting time. That's the problem. If mounts were instant cast, then it wouldn't be an issue. You can, however, bind mounts to a key and then use Scooter. Check out YayMounts.

Okay, if I may have your attention for a moment for a decision? I want some opinions on the implementation. Would you prefer it as it currently is, holding the key and moving the item to add/remove it to/from the list, or would you rather do it another way? The alternative I have is that I could use a /vault slash command and s...

Can you explain more of what you want? I've only recently just gotten back into WoW and I haven't logged on as my high level tauren druid in forever and a bit. I need to know what to test in game to reproduce in the mod, since at the moment I don't quite understand the request.

The thing is is that I just don't trust myself to do this well. I'm already spotting things that I want to clean up in Vault and there'll be a new version up soon. But that? That would likely cause Vault to explode to massive sizes. Can we even add glow without causing taint any more? Okay, how about this: Show me a mod, any mo...

Hrmn. That's an issue, because that would require bag parsing of epic magnitudes that I don't really feel like doing, because it would end up being a huge mess. It probably wouldn't be efficient, since I don't know what I'm doing there, and it would end up with a massive memory footprint. If there's some kind of library out the...

Yeah, sorry about that. It's such a weird thing, because when I was testing it I managed to hook UseContainerItem without the interface flipping a shit, but I'm... not sure how I did that, since the code was changing rapidly, and then the test version was deleted and I wrote up the main thing, and stuff got changed along the way....

Oh, bah. Sounds like it's tainting. Which is weird because it didn't in my original tests. I'll work on it! --- Actually, scratch that, I think I might know what's doing this. If it's what I think it is, then I'll have an update out in due course.
