Good Leveling Lock build?
 

Hey Im leveling a lock, currently @ 41 and I want a build that will help me level faster and have great damage, anyone have any? :)

Effecient is the key
 

I am using this currently and am able to drain tank and take out 3 to 4 mobs at a time using VW/Drain tanking. This is a very effiecient build so not a lot of down time.

i'm doing good with full demonology

you could go for DS and sac your VW. the regen makes grinding fairly downtime-less. however, for me, you'd be better going up to DP in affliction, gettingall the drain tanking talents and using your imp as a mana battery

with this build i'd get as much +shadow damage as possible and burn em down quick. it's surprising how much you can get even in the 40s. oh, and grind on ogres whenever you can cos they're slow and so 'kitable'.

Affliction is the only way to level [imho]

When leveling around my 40's it was immo - start running backwards cast corr, sl and coa then fear run to next mob Rinse n Repeat. This breaks the first fear and the original mob will be running towards you and should die nearby.

Don't just use Dark Pact, you should always be balancing out your hp / mp and your imps mp. Never let your imp attack, his firebolt has a horrid dpm; his only there for fire shield, blood pact and dark pact.

Grinding and Questing is the most efficient method [imho] of leveling. Straight out questing will run you out of quests and straight out grinding is horribly boring and can also leave you with sub-par gear.

After you run out of quests you should just go to a new place for quests.
I grinded from 20-30 in 2 weeks because i was dumb.
I got smart and started doing quests and 30-49 took two week,so questing is the best way to level, it was easy for me since im a hunter but still grinding is the most boring thing in the world unless your just trying to level because you have 1000 xp to go.
