Pet bar
 

I'm seeing some weirdness with the pet/stance bar.

Often, the bar will just disappear when I enter combat, but only if I'm in a group (instance/Raid).

re-summon the pet and it comes back, but often it'll just vanish again next combat.

Doesn't always happen, either.

Any ideas ?

Oh, I should say it's Nui+ 5.0.7

Did you really mean 5.0.7 or 5.07.{something} ??

if you really meant 5.0.7 then I have to assume you're playing on a private server, in which case there is no support for that. Otherwise, make sure you have 5.07.21 which is the newest version.

Vanishing Pet Bar
 

I have also had a vanishing pet bar. I have noticed it when I zone into Firelands, the pet bar vanishes, as does the pet tab in my spellbook and talents pages. The pet is still fully control able (via keybindings), and reloading the ui or dismissing and re-summoning the pet re-establishes the pet bar.
I have the most current version of NUI (5.07.21).

** Note: I have not had it vanish at the start of or during combat.

The pet bar vanishing (in Firelands) seems to happen to people who don't use nUI as well..

Yeah... I don't think this is an nUI bug... this is a Blizz bug. The fact that the pet tab is gone, too, means *Blizz* doesn't think you have a pet for some reason.

I wouldn't even know how to *find* a private server.

I'm not into Firelands yet on this toon. The behaviour is pretty random, but I can guarantee it happens for me in party at some point every time.

Just for giggles... next time it happens, open your spell book and see if the pet tab is in the spell book or if it is gone, too.

Well, It'll have to wait a few days.. got capped for JPs until Thursday or so.

On another note...

I use the /NUI Viewport to toggle port because of the Blizzard hash in the viewport code.

It always says ViewPort Disabled (whether enabling or disabling). Just a cosmetic thing really.

Also, the viewport resets itself - haven't figured out exactly when it does it, but I noticed it in uldum this evening.. with the viewport on, my gryphon has a dangly bit (oooo!) turn the viewport off and all is normal. So it's not just instances.. it's just more noticeable in Throne of the Tides, for eg.

Anyway, so when can we expect 6 then ? I'm SO looking forward to it. I'll even buy you a beer when it comes out of beta!

I've noticed the pet bar disappearing at times as well.. typically during some quest where you need to ride on something, or some special thing like that.. when you come out, your pet is either gone, or he's there with the pet bar gone. I noticed it today in Firelands too, like the others were reporting. But, like you say, it may very well be Blizz.
