I always liked the idea of naming a guild name look like it was an internal error. Such names were similar to NULL, which is a C-style identifier meaning to represent an uninitialized value, like Lua's nil value. Note many other programming languages use NULL too, most of which were written using C. If it makes any difference, WoW was written using C#, which is the newest incarnation of C.

I had no idea that Macs could run .NET applications. I think you meant C++...

I really like Doodad_Beta_Guild_02 too. It's scalable also! Can do _01 _02 _03 for different servers/factions.
