What happened to Beta uploads?
 

In the past, I've been able to upload files as Beta versions, and then they show up in a separate "Beta" tab on my addon's download page, and don't replace the main download.

However, I can't find this option anywhere now... the only option on the "Manage addon" page are to disable archiving the previous file, and the "Upload optional patch/addons" links don't seem to be what I'm looking for.

Was this feature removed, or am I just extra blind today and missing it? The only threads I found about it were from many years ago when it was being developed.

This feature has only ever been available from the SVN/Git zip creation screen. Nothing has changed.

This system does need an overhaul since even when used the beta file is kind of hidden for the user to find. Thats why we do have the beta category and you can upload a separate file to there if you like.

Can we delete an addon we post to the beta category once its beta period is over?
