Spell Icons on Target at bottom of HUD
 

Hey there. I'm a new nUI fan. I play a warlock. I like the HUD, though giving it some functionality like ICEHud would be cool.

The main thing I don't like about it, I like it on Health/Power mode. I've disabled the casting bar (I think with one of your old addons) but I really REALLY want to remove the icons of spell durations on a target that appear at the bottom/middle of the HUD, above Range info.

I've read enough of your posts to know I'm going to have to edit the file:
[interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts > Default > HUDLayout > {hud mode}].
But is there a specific part of the code I should be looking for? I don't wanna go screw up something else...lol

Are you trying to get rid of the cooldown bar or the HOT/DOT bar?

First I would like to say that this is the best UI ever, Blizzard needs to take notes.

I play a Warlock and use ForteXorcist and would like to hide the HoT/DoT and Cooldown timers.

I always get a bit of a kick out of it when people start by telling me how much they like nUI and then start asking how to turn its features off so they can use another mod. ~smile~

The cooldown bar can be disabled with the command '/nui hud cooldown' I believe -- or maybe it's "cooldowns" -- can't remember off the top of my head.

There's no option to disable the HOT/DOT bar.

I think that's the case with all UIs. You can't make every player 100% happy, but you can shoot for 99.5% and me I'm 99.9% happy with this UI. It has shrunk my addons folder, given me better FPS and organized all the clutter. This is the only Full UI that I have seen do that. Keep up the good work and thx for the help.:)

Mind you -- I wasn't complaining... it just amuses me is all... old people are easily amused like that ~grin~

I long since realized that there was no way to please everyone which is why I have invested so much in converting nUI from a UI to a UI engine... so people can tweak it to be what they want. That said, I do want to get to place where they're changing the look of what's built in and not ripping it out to replace it with something else that does the same thing (more or less).
