addon to find gear
 

k, im looking for a addon that will tell me where i should get the next upgrade (or the best if i can do it).

i had something like this before.

Did some digging and I'm finding some addons that let you plan the gear your after but none that tell you what you should get.

For planning you can use atlas loot (it has a wishlist section to compliment the main functionality) I also found LootPlan on curse. As well as a few others.

You can also check out the class threads on Elitist Jerks where the breakdowns of each spec usually come with a gear/gem/enchant load out in the threads.

Not exactly what you asked for but it should give you something to work with in the mean time.

If you're already a level 80, you don't need an ingame addon. Give RAWR a try. Hands down one of the best pieces of software you can use as a guide to choosing and finding your next piece of upgradable gear.

Altoholic has a function that suggests an upgrade and where the item is from.
