i just downloaded the latest nUI6 test logged in and this is what was waiting for me

Hmm, that effect is familar .. thought we had it fixed though.

Do you have an minimap addons running? (including the nUI_InfoPanel_Minimap plugin)

Okay... I found the problem (I think) -- fixing it now.

This is still happening for me at times. It's fixed by a reload now unlike when it first started happening, but it does still happen. TY for all ur time and effort that u put in, i love nUI and appreciate all ur hard work.

Edit: Also i am updated to the 3.03.05 version that released on the 20th when it happened again. May be it might be something for the newest version of nUI 5 to make it work right with the new patch. witch i also have newest version of. that is when it started up again for me at least.

I have had that happen occasionally since the patch and so far every time it was down to a bugged piece of code or a bugged addon. Fixing the code or turning off the offending addon I forgot was still bugged resolved it for me every time.

If you haven't got swatter or bugsack or some other addon to show your errors it might be worth getting it to see if any errors are coming up that you can't actually see.

I read through this thread and didn't see any absolute resolution to the problem. I have the most updated NUI+ loaded along with NUI6 but have to keep 6 disabled because it's not playable with the giant map taking up the screen... I've tried the /nui rl command but it persists:(.

Any suggestions?

oh, I do have swatter installed but I've never used it nor do I understand what the error messages are, if any, when they pop up..... it all looks like a foreign language to me.... I can say that revently, I haven't seen any error messages but can check again tonight when I get home from work and enable nui6....

Have you tried the old suggestion of start with nUI and slowly add the other addons 1 at a time to see which one triggers the break. Rinse and repeat until you have a list of dodgy addons. Then try nUI with just that addon and see if it still breaks ?


EG.
nUI + addon1 = ok / not ok
nUI + addon1 + addon2 = ok/not ok
nUI + addon1 + addon2 + addon 3 = ok/not ok
nUI + addon2 = ok/not ok
nUI + addon3 = ok/no ok
nUI + addon1 + addon3 = ok/no ok
nUI + addon2 + addon3 = ok/not ok

A small example. With just these 3 addons you have 3 to 7 tests you can do to identify the addon(s) causing the problem.

Once you have found these, list them and possibly we can find the reason.

Before you do that though, list the addons ( and versions where possible ) that you are using in case we see something straight away that is causing the problem.
