Your unit frame should always show what your current HP is. I believe mana only shows as a percentage though.

not sure what unit frame was used to make nui it doesnt show hp or even a % for mana

Can you post a screen shot please?

(ps: nUI doesn't "use a unit frame" -- it *is* a unit frame)

When you load nUI... it should look like this... http://s.wowinterface.com/preview/pvw24241.jpg

If you look at the unit frame for "Kitty" -- my hunter pet -- you'll see Kitty's current and maximum health in the top right the unit frame... current health is 9976 and max health is 10824 -- Kitty's percent health and percent power (focus in this case) is immediately to the right of the health and power bars... 92.2% and 14.0% respectively.

If you look at the party example at http://s.wowinterface.com/preview/pvw24252.jpg you can see my unit frame (Erranthor) left of the minimap. It, too, shows current health as 15974 which is 100% (shown on the left side of the health bar) while my current power (mana) is at 89.0% (shown on the right side of the bars) -- likewise, if you look at the party member Sessnishi you can see his current health is 23300 or 99.6% -- my target's current health is 385 or 2.4%

The information is all there even without the HUD.

k in the first ss that shows kittys hp and suff if u look at the hunters hp and mana it only shows % that is how mine is but doesnt show like kitty's up in the corner the 9976/10824 here is a ss

o.O

It does not show the total mana, you are correct... it never has because there's not enough room in the unit frame to show it. If you want that info, you have to use the HUD -- but your screenshot DOES show the current health and max health in the corner just like the other one does and as I explained.

k can u help me set up the hud so it only shows the player stat not the target and so it is not imn the middle of the screen but off to the left a bit

i got it lol the green # is hp and the blue is mana right?

spiel2001 05-05-09 02:02 PM

Correct -- green is HP and blue is mana (power) -- other power colors are red for rage, yellow for energy, aqua for runic power, and rust for focus.

I think you completely miss the point of a HUD -- the whole point of the HUD is to be able to see all the data you need without having to look away from the center of the display where the combat is actually taking place... so removing the target means you have to look to the bottom of the display to see your target's data and moving the player data to the side of the display means you have to look to the edge of the display to see your health... now your eye has to travel from the left edge of the display to the bottom of the display and back to match your health/power to your target's health power and in the meantime you're not watching the center of the display where the actual combat is occurring so you may well be missing other critical events.

However... if you really must move everything out from the center, then I would suggest the command '/nui hud hgap {n}' which sets the space between the left and right side of the bars... the default is '/nui hud hgap 500' and setting it to a larger number will move the bars further apart. You can also use '/nui hud scale {n}' to change the size of the HUD bars... the default is '/nui hud scale 1' and setting it smaller will make the bars smaller -- '/nui hud scale 0.75' would make them 3/4 the default size. -- Between the two you should be able to move the bars to the outside edges of the display and adjust their size to suit your taste.

There is no option to get rid of the target's HUD bars.

BTW: You have a mod installed that is giving you the frame rate, memory usage and latency above your minimap... that's already built into nUI so why use up the extra CPU time to calculate and display it twice?

I strongly recommend you do what is suggested in this post... http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=21716
