Need a Needed Addon
 

I am using NUI and have blank spaces all over my screen that need filling in. I am currently a Disco-Priest that is leveling up from 60+. For healing I am using Vuhdo and Decursive. Anything else I should be using to increase skill of healing or basic necessities of addons?

Sounds like you have a loading problem somewhere there.

Try running wow with just nUI loaded, preferably the latest one which includes the needed key ring change amongst others.

As for addons for healing I used to use Grid rather than Vuhdo and Decursive until I shifted to macro mouseover healing.

Where do you see the loading problem?

Carbonite has a known 4.2 problem so I would say at least turn that off for now and see if that is causing the problem.

The Loading process could be interrupted by any number of addons that you may have loaded that run before nUI has completed its own loading process. Hence the suggestion that you start with nUI on its own with no other addons. That will show that nUI itself has no loading problems. Then slowly add your important addons ( making sure you get the latest versions ) and start wow again. It's a lengthy process but it will help you narrow down the cause.

Did you deliberately disable your action button display in nUI ? If so then perhaps there isn't a loading problem, especially if you disabled the map because of carbonite usage.

The action bars are mouseover. I use the option to have NUI not to use the minimap

Edit: I also focus a lot in battlegrounds.

I'd say you have pretty much what you need to heal then. I'm sure you'll get more suggestions soon on what other people use.

If you are comfortable editing Lua files, there is a user-posted Carbonite work-around in This Thread in the Carbonites Bug Report forum.

Mostly a simple map addon that can remove certain buttons i don't use. profiles too. no lua config because thats for n00bs. :D

Minimap I assume? You could look at PocketPlot. There are several, though, that you could use actually.

I have used PocketPlot and it seems to have broken profiles and can't hide the raid or dungeon flag.

And you can move the flag wherever you want. ;)

I move the map but the dungeon flag stays up at the top. I need an addon that my healing can revolve around, like Vuhdo.

Did you try enabling the mover for it? ;)

I don't think there is one.

There is. It's my addon, I put the code in for it, and I have the flag moved. :)

/edit: I'm still interested in hearing how profiles are broken. I haven't experienced anything wrong, but haven't tried since the patch.
