quest announcement?
 

I like the quest announcements in party chat but I don't like everything else that comes with carbonite. Is there a way to extract only the quest announcement piece and make that a separate addon? That';s the only piece I need.. or can you give us the option to disable all the maps and bag features? I prefer the original world of warcraft maps and UI.

Maybe you should check out other questing add ons if that's the only part of Carbonite that interests you. In particular, ISTR that nQuestLog made those announcements. Of course, if nQuestLog is no longer being maintained, you'll have to find another one. Search the add ons here.
