Feature Request

Hey there!

As far as I'm aware, whenever something is added onto the Carbonite Map (Such as a Noted location, herb, mining node etc) It is added to Carbonites internal database with a zone tag or something, right?

I was wondering, if it's possible to add a Search option for herbs and Mining nodes?

For example, say i needed Copper Ore, I could open a Gather window, type in Copper and it shows a by-zone count?

For example (not real numbers!)

[*search box*]

Durotar: 102
Northern Barrens: 90
Mulgore: 99
Elwynn Forest: 100
Duskwood: 14

and so on! :)

Or if you typed a zone, it would show what gathering stuff spawns there, for example Durotar

[*search box*]

Copper Ore: 101
Silverleaf: 90
Earthroot: 20
Peacebloom: 88

I'm not a heavy user, i pretty much just use Carbonites basic features, such as the Map, show gathering nodes on the map etc, but thought it would be nice if you could add searchable access to zone-by-zone data? :)

I'm not sure if any of the above makes sense to you, but i tried to illustrate best as i could :)

Great work btw! :)

Addition

Oh, I forgot to add in my original post, if this is possible, could it be possible for a "Route X Only" option for Gathering nodes? :)

So, if you wanted Ragveil, you could right click on one of the map notes and "Route Ragveil" which makes carbonite take you between each Ragveil node in the zone you clicked it on? :)

Have a read through this old thread....

Some of the content has changed, but the method is still the same.

Awesome, thank you!
I never knew you could do this! :)

Going to have to have a serious scour through the options and clickable things! :)
