Is there any chance to see Carbonite working on russian localization of WoW?

Have done some work for ruRU translation.
Addon work on RU-realms, but don't show flyway to quests (don't translated flight points, i think). Ofc, whole interface still on english.

Flight points will be translated in few days.

As for me it's not working. I deleted whole files> downloaded and uzipped new version> but when log on nothings working and carbonite.lua mistakes...

mistake shows like carbonite.lua:3732: attend to index field GOp (a nil value).

Eh... I have done lots of work with, but there is complitly translated addon.

New Localization.LUA for v3.11 with fixed bug in previous post.

That's partially my work (russian interface mostly, location names and fly route names is ALZA's and others work).

Do you ming If I make similar translation of interface to russian? sadly at this time english is hardcoded mostly and I have very small experience with LUA to make it fully international, but if carbonite team has plans for it - I would be glad to provide complete russian translation for it in future

To Bahus, can you tell me, how point like "Portal to Stormwind" organized? I can't understand how to make it use localized names of cities and localized names for itself (like Portal to = Портал в). I think I need to read some manuals for addon creation :)

It's will be good. But with each new version we will need to do whole works from beginning =( Will be great, if developer provide translation of interface by same way, as provided transslation of maps and taxi.

No idea at all =( With my Localization.lua I haven't routs trough boats, zeppelins and portals =( And haven't any armor piece in Warehouse. I have no experience with LUA too, just wotk with basic programming knowledge.
I think, we need developers assistence. I'll ask for help when get some time on weekend.

Got it. Now I've got some progress with Boats/Portals/trams, although there's some work to be done with gettiong rid of stupid mistakes :) I'll post update soon (in two days probaly or earlier).

2 Developers, do you have any plans to dedicate interface translations in localization.lua? I can try to do it by myself and send you patch, if needed?

No. Nobody here will support pirates. And I doubt that Carbonite Team will do it either. I wouldn't if them I were.

OMG, why u hate pirates:confused: We played pirate servers, because haven't money. :p

That's not a love/hate question, it's a matter of integrity. Besides even if I wanted to make it work with pirate version - I wouldn't, cause I'd need to install it, etc. Not worth my time. I prefer to dedicate my time to update Carbonite translation and to make it better in general.

3.23 is already out... Russian version is still not updated even to 3.22(
Is there any way to get the least translated 3.23 version (yes, I prefer as much original, english interface as possible =) ), but working on russian realms?

Dear Carbonite authors, maybe you can post what exactly need to be added and translated in localization.lua? Many ruRU users struggle so much, trying to get Carbonite back to work with every version. Can we have any comments about ruRU version?

almost 3 monthes carbonite is not localized for ru realms
very sad to see that there is no hope it would be localized
can't leave without awesome harvesting feature :(

Tbh, I don't care about this addon being localized. I just want devs make it works on RU realms by default, not after some tweaking in localization.lua file. Too bad they are ignoring us...

so guys plz tell about solution of that problem... can we see in future Carbonite ability working on RU realms? Aproximately one million russian users wait it so long and beg Creator of addon help us... respect to you

Same here, I'm ready to help, if someone tells me, how to do it.
Another my question still unanswered - is it possible to make Carbonite work on russian realms as it is now, interface totally in english, and without translating anything (like quest names, quest texts, so on) to russian?

На всякий случай, если вдруг еще кто-то кроме меня не разберется, как в 4+ заставить аддончик работать - файл sairrysh-а, который он выше выкладывал, все еще актуален :) Нужно просто его скачать, если не сохранился, и в папке Carbonite заменить им файлик localization.lua (естественно, в обновленной версии Carbonite, для 4+).

а если уломаю сделает полную с переводом меню и тд )

I am an American playing on an U.S server. However, my wife is Ukrainian and does not read, speak or write English - only Russian.

Is there a way to use Russian localization only on her toons so she can read the carbonite helpful information and quest items in the quest list?

Ток 2 вопроса

1) будет ли русифицированный интерфейс (тяжеловато настраивать без знания языка).

2) можно ли сделать чтобы Carbonite подхватывал, а не игнорировал Explorer Coords (аддон показывает на карте точки к которым надо подойти чтобы открыть месность на карте)?

есть и другие вопросы, но с большинством думаю разберусь, если будет русифицированное меню.

Играю на Гордунни, очень нравится аддон, но стал иногда не позволять взять или сдать квест, т.е. не открывается меню разговора с НПС, отключаю аддон все работает и заметила, что эвентовые квесты (пред катаклизменные) не показывает где делать, отключаю аддон близовский кухелпер все показывает, а карбоните нет(

После последних патчей опять неробит. ругается на луа. :(

Фух, заработало :) Заменить надо файл Localization в папке Carbonite вот на этот Attachment 5351. Думаю, автор поправит, когда появится, в своей версии. А пока придется ручками.

(translation) Forced it to work :) Need to replace the file Localization in Carbonite folder by this one Attachment 5351. I think the Author will fix it soon in his version. For now - we need to do it ourselves.
