This test hardly means anything and especially not what your network perf will be with WoW.
I am in DC but get better results with MD, NC or even NY. Depending on which peerings your provider has various locations will work differently.
Then if the test is TCP based it's really the latency that's going to limit the speed. Unless you use non-vanilla TCP stack with extended transmit windows.
I never checked which protocol WoW is using actually, something over UDP I guess.







From a gig uplink I couldn't find a server that would not cap at around 25M/25M ;)

Anyway WoW traffic is VERY low (you will get kicked if you generate too much traffic, sometimes just from spinning your view too quick in cities) so this test do not really matter.
Better have a slower connection but very stable to last in 5 hours RAIDs.

I finally remembered to do it at home...check out these lightning results...












And just think...WoW runs just fine...even in the major cities.
