WIM: No Reply
 

Hiya,

I thought I'd let you know about this problem I'm having with WIM: I cannot reply to incoming whispers, or maybe it's a case of the reply going out but I can't see it.

Pazza told me, and I quote:
The problem is with nUI. It has issues with WIM. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do on my end. sorry. You will have to pick one of the two addons.

I noticed that the below error message is pretty much the same as someone else got, but for a different error :).

I use most of those Add on's and don't have and issue ... I use WiM and it works fine. I use Wowmatrix to update my add on's I don't know if that makes a difference.

I freaked out like that too.

Go through the settings carefully .. theres an option in every type of chat it can trap that has a checkbox to suppress normal window output. You just need to turn that option off for the messages you still want to see outputted to the window.
And the error message can be bypassed by turning window animations off. That gets caused most of the time because it can't see the minimap button as we have it hidden in the little pretty button bag.

I'm pretty sure the problem here is caused by WiM's minimap button being in nUI's button bag. Try using the WiM option to disable the minimap button and see if that doesn't fix it.

That could be a problem. Wowmatrix is no longer reliable. It has been blocked by WowInterface and Curse. If you are using it to update your addons then they are NOT up to date.
