Chat Window Text Alignment?

I'm looking for a function to set the incoming chat text of a specified chat window to align to the specified alignment. Does such a function exist? I haven't really found a good list of functions for the getglobal api. If not, any ideas for a roundabout way of accomplishing this? Example, which doesn't work:
