Customizing HUD bars

I've been dabbling with this and have about 1/10 successes so am looking for some tips.

I want to modify DHUD3 with custom bars and the artwork I have is wider (194x256) than the 128x256 tga that it uses.

Pretty much this is the only issue I'm having and any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Your texture file has to be a power of 2. 194 is not a power of 2.

2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512

The width of your image has to be one of those sizes.

Better late than never? This went to the backburner for awhile but check out what I came up with so far..
