consul bug bar- only some keys show
 

ok , nwo i got this odd bug that the consul bar isnt showing up .. I go to show conusl and only the achimenent icon shows. It a real pain in the butt.

I now have to hit escape - to get to the add on's. It is really hard since i can not get the icon for my spell book and i keep having to remember hot keys.

I downloaded the new version of NUI and it didnt fix it.
Also seems lag has gotten worse.

This bug was also in the previous version too wehre the consul bar has disapearing icons.

I have to go to show to not show to mouse over and keep refrsing gui and it stil wont bign them back.

Try '/nui console on' and see what happens.

that is with nui console on.

I have tried it off, to on, to mouseover.

The pick shown is with NUI console on hun.

So, you have always had this problem with nUI ?

Or was it only recently ?

Could you list your other addons. Maybe something is conflicting with nUI in some way.

Do you have any other bar mods installed? What happens if you disable every mod except nUI and log in?

i thought that also so i disabled all my add on's and even tried removeing them all and adding them back one at a time.

What happens is after i log on it seems ok i get ll the icons then after awhile they just disapear only the achiement one stays.

I try goingto show consule , on , off, mouseover. They dont come back.

Well then I went to my add on folder and just removed all my add on' except the NUI one.

Same, I worked backwards and stil no change. ( i removed these addons not turned then off, i moved them to the recycle bin.

This has been going on for about 2 weeks.

No change since the update either.

i did have Bartender 4 installed because my shaman and hunter needed 2 more bars but i even turned off bartender 4 and also deleted it and no change.

Right now servers are down till 3pm eastern so i cant try anything yet.

Well... I can say with about 98% certainty this is something outside of nUI.

I do know that Bartender (Dominoes) does try to control the main menu bar, so that could have been part of the issue.

What I would like to ask you to do when the servers come back up is to try the clean install procedure...

1) Rename WTF to WTF.saved and rename Interface to Interface.saved
2) Log into WoW without installing any mods (including nUI)
3) Set up your video and sound preferences, etc., then exit WoW
4) Install nUI 5.03.02 and log back into WoW then play a while... does the menu stay put?

If the menu still causes issues after this, let me know. Otherwise, start installing your other mods one at a time and test by playing for a bit after each and see if the problem comes back. If it does, then we'll know which mod is conflicting with nUI.

By itself, I can't imagine why this problem would occur in nUI and I can't recall anyone else having mentioned it. Again... I would never say with 100% certainty it's not nUI, but I'm as certain as I can be that it's a conflict with another mod.

Ok it has to me or something.

I did what you said and it worked for 2 days and when i logged on today i received an achievement ( 4 weapons skills to 40) and then i went up to the top and only the achievement icon showing just like in the pic again.

I did what you said and unloaded all my add ons and deleted the files you said . But for some reason noting happened when I reloaded all my add ons one at at a time.

1 - worked fine for one day and then i added back my add on s.
2 - still worked fine with add ons.
3 - day 2 late evening i logged off and had no issues.
4- played a couple of days with no issues.
5- today got an achievement and after i got the achievement all the icons disappeared again and only the achievement icon shows.

Interesting... I would be curious to know... leave your Interface folder like it is and just rename your WTF folder, then log back into WoW. Is the bar working again? If you earn another achievement, does it go away again?

Can you post a listing of all of the mods you're using with nUI?
