Question Regarding Info Panels
 

Im just wondering if there's a stand-alone addon that works like the Info Panel and Player Mode Switching system on nUI. I love nUI and I think its absolutely wonderful however I just dont like the actionbar Placement of it....Conflicts with my gameplay style. So if anyone knows a similar addon I could use or If anyone can tell me how I can actually move the Info Panel that would be great.

I don't know if there are addons out there similar but the nearest would be designing your own interface and using kgpanels to put it in a nice pretty frame.

As to changing the layout, you can do this, but it will involve editing the layout files which at present can only be done by hand.

Folder : \nUI\Layouts\Default

File : nUI_Layout_Default_Dashboard.lua

Look For : nUI_DefaultConfig.InfoPanel =

That section denotes the position and other various elements regarding the infopanel. Edit and save then reload or log into the game and see how it looks. May take you awhile to put it where you want but don't forget there are other elements in nUI that aren't movable at present so you don't want to move it to those areas.

If you don't like the action bar placement, why not just do '/nui movers' and unlock them, move them where you want them, the '/nui movers' to lock them back down?

Well the way I prefer to have my UI configured would place the Action Bars on the Info Panel. And I can't seem to figure out how to move or even a suitable place to move them to..
