Wowhead not showing searchresults or other text

Hi!

I have this strange problem with Wowhead that I cant see text there. I can acces the page just fine and click on direct links to items. But I can't see the comments and I can't search there.

I am using Windows 7 and Google Chrome. I have tried using other browsers with the same problem. I have cleared cache and cookies without help. I have disabled all Chrome extensions. And I have even tried using another computer at the same ISP, that did'nt help (!). Is there a problem with my ISP?

Forwarded your post along to the Wowhead folks.

[Edit] They want you to go to this post and see if that is your problem.

Here it what it says...

Would it be ok if our techs contacted you using the email address in your account here so they can get to the bottom of this problem?

They also have a simple process in which users can provide them with some additional specifics which will greatly help them out.

Temporary solution: This will allow you to browse Wowhead normally.
1. Open up Notepad as an Administrator
2. Open %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
3. Add and save the following lines to the host file:
50.22.23.4 wowjs.zamimg.com
50.22.23.4 wowcss.zamimg.com
This will work temporarily--but the information will be changing in two months as we migrate servers, so please remove those lines before then.

If you'd like to provide us with more details on the IP address of the Akamai edge server, and use Vista or Win 7, please do the following:
1. Go to Start menu and enter in "cmd" in the 'Search programs and files' input box.
2. Run 'nslookup wowjs.zamimg.com' and 'nslookup wowcss.zaming.com'
3. Please report what the text is after "Name:"

I know they are having a heck of a time tracking down this problem. They would really appreciate some help in testing the above.

Changing DNS to 8.8.8.8

Thanks for posting this, I've sent that bit of info on to our friends at Wowhead and hopefully they can figure out what is going wrong. You shouldn't have to change your DNS but I'm glad its now working for you. :)
