AddOn Idea's to begin with - for a newb.

Anyone got some ideas for a newb to try to accomplish?

Could be anything from a Bag Sort AddOn, Tooltips, etc to a DPS, Threat, etc counter. But keep it simple - something not too hard to accomplish :)

Why don't you make something that you will use? Find something you would change with your UI and go about getting it done.

I started with a simple addon that used !Beautycase to skin stuff.

And my love for the border caused me to pretty much make my whole UI match it.

Although it's not a stand alone addon, you might want to consider creating an oUF layout.

I'd start out with an addon that doesn't depend on any others. No libs or anything. This way you learn what the WoW API is capable of on its own and how it's supposed to be used instead of relying on someone else's code to do it for you.
