what's up with nUI memory usage?
 

When I first loaded nUI onto WoW it loaded up and only used like 7-8MB. the second time it started at 6MB and moved up .10 every second until I check and it was between 18-20MB...

what's up? Why does nUI load in .10 chunks continously? why did it only take up 6MB before now it's pushing 20MB? I have a sorry laptop and at the moment cannot get a new one due to my military situation. 20MB puts me at 8-10FPS unless im looking towards the ground which gets annoying after awhile... I really like nUI and enjoy using it, certainly the first time... any ideas?

about the ram use i cant say anything, but one thing you can try is set your vid settings on low :P

Well... the memory usage you're describing is pretty normal for nUI though I am working on reducing that as much as possible in nUI 6.0 -- however, even at 20meg that's nothing when it comes to memory usage even on an old laptop. Heck, I'm playing on a six year old laptop myself and my frame rate moving about the world is typically in the 60-70fps range.

Let me make this absolutely clear, nUI's memory usage has nothing to do with low frame rates. That said, there's clearly something wrong as your frame rates should not be anywhere near that low.
