PayPal Donation button

I was reading http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/f...=donations_dev and the PayPal instructions are very outdated, and no longer work as shown. I got as far as creating the button code, but there was no number to match, and I can't find the "My Buttons" page anywhere on my profile.

Can the FAQ be updated, please and thank you?

You can't save buttons unless you have a business account on paypal, and wowinterface only supports that.

Yeah, the issue is the type of account you have. Premiere accounts work as well.

Oh gee well! *fake huffs* At least the FAQ could have said that!! ;)

Is it worth it to set up my PP account as business or premiere?

Probably not, since if you "upgrade" your account then PayPal takes a slice of every payment you receive, not just credit card payments. When I used to use eBay a bit, I looked into it and decided it wasn't worth it, since with a "regular" account you can still receive payments from PayPal balance or bank transfers, and that was never a problem for me on eBay (other than some incestuous restrictions on how you could advertise). I guess it depends on how much you expect to make from donations, and how many donations you expect from people who don't have PayPal accounts or don't have their bank account attached to their PayPal account, but I'd guess it's probably still not worth it.
