Noob question...undead/warlock
 

Why when I try to use certain items...dragging them on my character display I see a message that reads:

You do not have proficiency for that item.

How do I get proficiency for an item?

With warlocks, you can only use cloth armour, so, if you try to use leather i think it says "you don't have the proficiency for that item", or sometimes it has to do with your level, and with weapons.

If you wish to learn new weapons for warlocks, the following places can give you training:

Undercity Weapon Master: Swords
Orgrimmar Weapon Master: Staves

As Thargos has said, Warlocks can only use Cloth.

i wish i could GO to orgimmar to learn how to use staves..my computer doesn't have that much RAM, so i can't go into org.. :(
