When you install skada,do you have to install the nui stats like you do for
recount / omen ?? I installed it /without nui stats and everything messed up :(

When you install Skada you should remove nUI_InfoPanel_Stats, nUI_InfoPanel_DualStats, Recount and Omen3.

Nothing else should be required.

I have nothing installed but latest nUI+ and skada,and what i get is "another info panel box" minus the selection button in bottom center of screen that covers the mini-map area and my info,pet info minimap ect. are all blank.
Guess i will get rid of skada and go back to recount as i can do without the frustration.

If you would, for giggles...

Exit WoW and rename [ World of Warcraft > WTF ] to [ World of Warcraft > WTF.saved ] and rename [ World of Warcraft > Interface ] to World of Warcraft > Interface.saved ] and log into WoW then exit right back out again.

After you log back in and exit, install nUI+ and nothing else, log back in. Is everything working correctly?

If everything is correct, exit again and install only Skada then log back in. Does everything work correctly now?

Just had this same bug happen to me. I went through Swatter's logs and found this error as the only one related to nUI.

Using /nUI rl cleared the issue, and I have not been able to duplicate it again even after several log ins/outs.

Its the intermittent bug where the VARIABLES_LOADED event gets called after PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD event. When that happens things go haywire hence the changes in 5.06.16. The plugins need to be changed in a similar fashion to resolve the problem permanently.

Eh, had a feeling it may be related. Nothing a quick and simple /nui rl wont fix though when it does crop up. :D Which for me so far has only been the one time.

I went through the steps you suggested, Interface.saved / WTF.saved etc. and still no good. I tried the /nui rl and that did not correct the issue either.
I really liked the idea of damage /threat all in one package,less clutter etc. but its back to recount for now,,this is giving me a headache.....lol

Just to be sure -- are you *sure* you have the right version of nUI installed? It should say "5.06.17" in the chat frame when you log in.

What other nUI related addons do you have ? One of them may need updating to the new 5.06.16 event system or that effect happens.

Yes it is 5.06.17 and no other add-ons,,just nUI+ and skada.

Yet another Skada problem.
My nUI is working fine.

Once Skada is installed, the Skada windows (nUI_Skada1 and nUI_Skada2) behave as if they're clamped to the right screen edge.

I've tried deleting them and recreating them without altering this behaviour.

No matter where on the screen i drag them, they 'stick' to the right edge of the screen.

Right now, nUI_Skada2 is visible and I can't find nUI_Skada2 at all. I can create new Skada windows and they behave normally.

Try this...

1) Exit WoW
2) Go to your [ World of Warcraft > WTF > Account > {account name} > SavedVariables ] directory
3) Delete the Skada.lua and Skada.lua.bak files in the folder
4) Log back into WoW

Do the skada windows work correctly now?

If not, please take a screen shot and post it here (you can use the paperclip icon in the message editor to uploaded it or scroll down the editor page to the "Manage Attachments" button)

Made no difference.. I also installed 5.06.18.

Screen shot attached. I've outlined in red where the Skada windows live.. Doesn't matter where I drag them, they always snap back to that edge.

Now, I tried an experiment. Deleted the skada.lua and skada.lua.bak files.

Logged in and the windows were in the right place.

Did /Skada config

Selected to use a new profile (need different profiles for healer and dps toons)

At that point the skada windows start to misbehave. Also, if I try and drag the windows at any time even without changing the profile settings.

Hmm, sounds like nUI and skada config don't like each other :(. I usually just kept to the skada1 and skada2 config set up by nUI and just changed the windows dependant on whether I am healing or dpsing.

Yeah... nUI does not recognize Skada profiles. Perhaps in nUI6.

Actually, that is not true. I use profiles and nUI. I have a 'healer' profile set up to show healing/dps while my default shows threat/dps. My priest is currently the only one using the healer profile while everyone else is on default. And while, yes, when you first set up the new profile it throws the windows out on the screen, a /rl fixed the problem for me.

Todd's right. Here's the original thread on Skada Profiles and nUI that we all had commented on and I think we all forgot about it, lol.
