Weekly Valor Cap Addon?
 

Thinking about creating this but would like to know if something exists already.

I have currently 10 85s one of each class and I don't get to cap them all every week but I am looking for an addon to tell me how much more Valor they can earn for the current week without logging over to that character.

Broker_Currency if I remember right can track them. Though it does require an lbd addon to see it.

I am using the above mentioned addon to track JP/VP among all of my alts. You do need to turn JP & VP on in the settings, though. The addon only tracks gold by default.

This addon does not give you any sort of warning, though. It just will display your JP/VP in a convenient fashion.

I am looking to track Current Week's earned Valor Points only.

It says Titan Panel, but I imagine any LDB display would probably work? Haven't tested it, but I believe Titan Panel is a LDB display addon now.

if i searched valor i didn't get much and if i searched cap i got BG Flag capping addons

unfortunately the author coded it specifically for the titan panel addon :(

Titan Panel isn't specifically an LDB display, it just has support for LDB. So any plugin specific to Titan Panel is written for its API.

ChoreTracker might also be what you're looking for.

Actually it was not too hard to code this, for myself I just made a simple addon to store the progress in LFD and when I mouse over the tooltip would display each character that is eligible for the weekly LFD valor points and their status.

I'd probably use one of the many "chore" addons tough, those are probably well maintained. :)

Looks promising, it seems to work for raid lockouts but the VP part of it doesn't work at all. It also doesn't support LDB either instead I have an ugly circle vacuum icon on my screen now.

OK it looks like the VP part is working for any toon earning VP after I installed the addon but wont update in-progress or capped toons.

This is a good idea, I might try to code something simple that keeps track of realm-wide stuff ilke justice points, valor cap etc. :)

thread seems to have died off in the last couple days any news?

As I was recently trying to add a similar functionality to my UI (well, it works, it just looks horrible), this screen leads me to the question how to create columns in tooltips.

ChoreTracker and many other AddOns use my LibQTip library to do this.
