XMage: Portals question
 

Hi all,

I got my main to 90 last night and went to the portal trainer in SW. I learned the portal and teleport spells for Panderia and found that they do not form part of the action buttons that contain all other portals and teleports. For some reason Blizzard decided to create 2 new buttons for the portal and teleport to Panderia which sit in the general tab of your spell book. I'm not sure why they did this but ...

My question is, is it possible to update the XMage: Portals addon to add these 2 to it as I find that addon very useful as a mage. I'm not sure if this will work as they are not in the same 'group' as the other portals and teleports, but it's worth a try. :)

I just uploaded a patch for it. It "should" work leave a post if it dosnt.

Ah, they weren't on wowpedia when I was re-writing the addon. Will make the changes by the weekend and incorporate tinyu's changes.

Is there a portal for Jade Forest?

Probably not, The cata zones don't have mage portals so I won't be surprised to find that the panda ones don't either.

There isn't a mage portal for Jade Forest, but there is a portal to Jade Forest from Stormwind/Orgrimmar after you have quested up to Dawn's Blossom. There are also portals from there back to either Stormwind/Orgrimmar.

ok so the only new mage port/teleport was to Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

The only new mage portal is to the Vale of the Eternal Blossoms. There is however a static portal at the hot air balloon in Stormwind which takes you to the Jade Forest.

I am truly grateful that for the fan update; however, I do not understand the necessity to change the order. For the life of the game they have been set according to when they were acquired, not alphabetically. Can we please put them back or least give us options (date or alphabetical)?
