Questing Glitch?
 

Whenever I pick up a quest or turn one in I experience a 2 to 5 sec pause in gameplay. In addition if I kill a mob associated with a quest it will usually pause on my as well after the kill. Has there been any others with this problem? I am not sure if it has anything to do with nUI or addons not playing nicely with it or simply a different addon causing it. Any suggestions or similar encounters? I have a host of addons, questhelper, questguru, cartographer are the ones most involved in the questing process. Thanks!

I can tell you with fair certainty that nUI is not involved in anything to do with quests whatsoever. So, it's almost assuredly another mod. I did have one other person report similar issues and in their case it turned out to be ArkInventory.

I will say this... having more than one mod that does the same thing is begging for these kinds of problems... there a LOT of overlap between QuestHelper, QuestGuru and Cartographer.

My very strong advice is to go to http://www.nUIaddon.com/documentation.html and click on the "Installation" link then follow the instructions for a first time install. When it comes to installing mods other than nUI in the process, pick and choose carefully so you only install the one you actually want and need and ensure that it is not overlapping with another mod that does the same thing.
