What chatmod do you recommend?

Memory usage doesn't matter as long as it's well written code.

Having said that.... out of all the chat addons I've ever tried, Prat is the best hands down.

Was using BasicChatMods, not using one, atm (I have no UI set up). You can disable unwanted modules or just copy paste the stuff together you want to use.

Petrah is right, even if the mod uses 10MB ram it wont slow performance, what does this is if the functions are poorly coded and eat up CPU inefficiently -end up with spikes, even if it says the addon uses 1KB memory when idle. ;)

I use a combination of BasicChatMods, aChat and some of my own stuff,works perfectly.

Actually I don't like any of the chatmods currently available. But I made one to fit my needs.
