So I've been gone for a couple of months...
 

... and now I'm looking to come back into WoW!

So, what have I been missing these last couple of months? It's been about half a year, and I have no idea what the world (of warcraft) outside is like!

I can see the Cataclysm beta has started, and that WoWInterface are giving out beta keys to authors just like with the WotLK beta, I guess it's time to update some of my addons. :D

What's been going on? Any big UI changes I should know of? Any new addons that are interesting etc?

I got back a while ago myself, I guess there's alot of new stuff with the lfg system. It also seems as if the ui has some sort of built in boss frames! Atleast mine has o.O.

biggest changes when it comes too updating addons would probably be chat addons because of new stuff in 3.3.5 :) other than that i didnt have too update much.

If you're a ouf user you prob. want too update yourself a little bit about 1.4 changes :)

I also can't seem to connect to the #wowuidev IRC channel, is it still over at freenode? Freenode kicks me off as soon as I connect, hence why I'm asking. I think it's a problem on my part though.

EDIT: Well, I'm connected now, but I can't /j #wowuidev for some reason. It does nothing and gives me no error (why would it, /j works ;<) and all other IRC networks I'm connected to work fine.

EDIT2: Managed to get in! Once... and it kicked me off almost instantly. :(

Did it say anything about you being banned from the room or something equally weird? *trying to help troubleshoot*

It said nothing, which I thought was weird. But, I'm in now and I don't have any issues staying connected for the moment. Hopefully it stays this way!

Is it even bigger than it was when I left? I think I left around the time it started getting big, some servers were still untouched though.

3. answer: no its pvp gear.
4.logg out :D

so you will wonder about that.
Ppl dont look your gear , but on a f****** number.
(in the majority of cases)

To be honest, GearScore isn't a bad tool, it's just not used right. I'm sure there's been plenty of threads about it though, so let's not keep on that topic. :D
