Changing WoWChatLog.txt buffer size?

With LoggingChat(true), is there any way to change (i.e., reduce) the output buffer size? I haven't done enough testing to put a number on it, but at least on OS X, it feels like something in the 2-4k mark, which can be minutes worth of off-peak chatter.

Apart from specific searches, I've scoured CVars and API refs, and came up with nothing. Is there a way to do this, or is it hopelessly hardcoded?

No. This is intentional, as Blizzard does not want anything close to real-time communication in either direction between WoW and outside applications.

I was afraid that'd be the case. Ah well, thwarted again. Thanks for the reply, though! :)
